Between December 2021 and May 2022, current homeowners in King County and others thinking about becoming homeowners gathered together monthly to learn and think about how to leverage land and resources to interrupt the cycle of dispossession and displacement caused by the real estate market. We investigated the idea of “radical homeownership” whether it is possible to approach homeownership as a means to stabilize neighborhoods rather than increasing inequities, gentrification and displacement, and oppression.
We had four co-learning sessions on the following topics. Each topic has a one-pager, powerpoint, and other resources below. You can also find all the materials in this folder.
